Angelina (Angie) Uribe
Angelina Chapa Uribe, 82, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, November 26, 2015.
She was surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Angie was born in Laredo, Texas on April 28, 1933.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adela Gutierrez Chapa and Higinio Chapa, brother, Higinio Chapa Jr., and her husband of 56 years, Victor A. Uribe.
She is survived by her children, David E. Uribe, Nora (Gerardo+) Gaona, Patricia E. Uribe and Cynthia (Alfredo) Robledo, grandchildren, David (True) Uribe, Marissa (Jesse) Garcia Perez, Gerardo Gaona Jr., Nora Gaona, Alfredo (Roxanne) Robledo III, Victor A. Robledo, Tatiana Robledo and Evan Uribe, sister in laws, Nora Uribe Bruni and Maria Chapa, as well as great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Other special family members include Patsy M. Uribe, Vicente Vera and Deborah Weid.
The Uribe family would like to thank Dr. Leo Cigarroa for his dedication, love and kindness while he cared for our mother.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 29, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 30, 2015, departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.
Pallbearers will be: David E. Uribe Jr., Gerardo Gaona Jr., Alfredo B. Robledo III, Victor A. Robledo, Evan A. Uribe and Jesse Garcia Perez.
Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
