ANASTACIO SNCHEZ, SR. January 22, 1927 - January 11, 2015 Anastacio Snchez, Sr., 87, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, January 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zacaras and Cipriana Snchez; son, Alberto Snchez; and brothers and sisters, Eloy (Nicolasa) Snchez, Sr., Vctor (Adelfa) Snchez, Crescencio Snchez, Juanita (Porfirio) Rivera, and Soledad Welder. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years of marriage, Dorina P. Snchez; children, Anastacio (Mara del Carmen) Snchez, Martha S. (José) Ortiz, Gloria (Cleofas "Cliff") Tellez, Eduardo Snchez, and Adriana S. Rocha; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives, and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Rosary will commence at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday morning, January 16, 2015 departing at 10:15 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
