ANA ISABEL FARIAS MULLER

June 18, 1944 – January 13, 2018

Ana Isabel, our most precious and loving matriarch of the family passed away suddenly, yet serenely, on Saturday in her sleep at her family ranch home.

Ana was born in Laredo, Texas on June 18th, 1944.

Ana's treasures, first and foremost, have always been her husband, children, grandchildren, family and close friends. Ana and Bobby would never hesitate in opening up their home to host countless celebrations of life. They enjoyed many nights watching magnificent Laredo sunsets with loved ones at their home overlooking the banks of the Rio Grande.

To all the close family and friends of the Muller/Farias Family - we will forever miss her warm smile and endless kisses, her love of story-telling and catching up on old times, her unwavering faith and tender heart, and her constant need-to-know of how all of her "pingos" were doing. An inspiration to us all, her spirit will forever live on watching and praying over all of us.

Ana Isabel was preceded in death by her parents, Hector and Concepcion Farias; in-laws, Albert Furney Muller and Julia Bird Jones Muller; and brothers, Carlos Luis, Luis Felipe, and Guillermo Eduardo Farias.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Muller; daughters, Francine Cleo Muller Woodul (Lewis), and Alma Cristina Muller; son, Roberto von Muller (Maria de Loudes Romero / Pepper); and her dearest grandchildren, Kierstin Nicole Muller Woodul, Aiden von Muller, Ava Victoria Muller, Carolina and Santiago Flores. She also survived by her brothers, Dr. Hector Farias, Jr. (Diana) and Arturo Rodrigo Farias (Eugie); her sisters-in-law, Linda J. Farias, Laura V. Farias, and Julia Muller; and her nephews, Paul, Bob, and John Weathers. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other beloved relatives and friends.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers, Cecilia Contreras, Olga Perez, and Clara Castan for all of the support they provided to Ana and her family. Special thanks to Dr. Ricardo Cigarroa and Dr. Benson Y. Huang.
