Ana Lizzeth was received in heaven with a grand celebration of her homecoming on Tuesday, May 24, 2011.-She was the eldest daughter of Gabriel and Ana Laura Lopez.-She was so proud and was always there for her two younger sisters, Xochitl and Karina.-Ana was the granddaughter of Laurentina and Jorge Lopez and Alma Rosa Ramirez and Rodolfo Medina.-She was a 2009 graduate of Gateway Academy and was employed at Glamour Beauty Salon as a licensed massage therapist.
Ana was a very gifted and talented singer.-She was very well known for her beautiful presentation of the National Anthem in many local Veterans' activities.-We are very saddened that she will not be here this Memorial Day to sing for all of the fallen veterans in our community, but she is now in heaven singing God's praises.-Her home is the home office to the South Texas Afghanistan Iraq Veteran's Organization and it is there that many fundraisers, scholarships, and assistance were organized for the local veterans and their families.-She often had to speak and defend local veteran's issues because she knew of the sacrifices that soldiers and their families would make.-Due to her father's military career they traveled extensively and lived in California, Florida, Mississippi, Virginia, and Texas.-She got make many friends and yet had to move away and follow her family and her dreams.
Ana was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Jorge Lopez, and maternal grandparents Rodolfo and Rosalinda Medina.
She is survived by her parents Gabriel and Ana Laura Lopez, sisters Xochtil Lopez, Karina Lopez, paternal grandmother Laurentina Lopez, God parents Ramiro and Ana Gonzalez.-She is also survived by numerous relatives.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 27, 2011 at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Road from 5 to 9 in the evening.-A Vigil Service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Christ Miracle Center for a Mass at 9:00 a.m.-Cortege will depart at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels.
Interment will follow at Laredo City Cemetery.
