ANA MARIA AYALA

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6

On December 3, 2017, God received Ana Maria Ayala, 80, into His Heavenly Kingdom. She passed away peacefully at home.

She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who lived her faith by example daily and owned Emmanuel Bookstore for over 25 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Isidro Becerra and Angela Becerra, husband, Salvador Manuel Ayala, newborn daughters Ana Maria Ayala and Maria de los Angeles Ayala, sisters Gloria San Juana Becerra, Amelia Becerra, Maria Elena Becerra, Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez, brothers, Indalecio Becerra, Miguel Angel Becerra, Ignacio Becerra, Carlos Becerra, Juan Benito Becerra, Juan Manuel Becerra, and nephews and nieces.

She is survived by her children: San Juanita Villarreal, Salvador Manuel (Elia) Ayala, Jr., and Ruben Ayala, grandchildren: Salvador Manuel Ayala, III, Honorable Judge Victor (Lorena) Villarreal, Christina (Josh) Davidson, great-granddaughters: Sofia Villarreal and Andrea Villarreal, sisters: Teresa Otero and Maria de los Angeles Martinez, and many nephews, nieces, great-grand nephews and great-grand nieces.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2017, from 5 to 9 in the evening at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring Ave.; with a Prayer Service beginning at 7 in the evening with Pastor Albert Rodriguez officiating.

Funeral services will be held at 9 am Saturday morning, December 9, 2017 in our chapel.

Procession will depart at 12:45 p.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels for a Graveside Service at 1 pm at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Hon. Judge Victor Villarreal, Ruben Ayala, Salvador Manuel Ayala, III, Josh Davidson, Juan Enrique Becerra, Juan Martinez, Jose Martinez and Daniel Becerra.
