Amparo Arce, 82, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Monday, January 20, 2020.
She was the pillar of the family, and was well known for her love of cooking, gardening, and music. Her radiant warmth will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Amparo was preceded in death by her parents: Federico and Antonia V. Rios; her beloved husband: Lauro Arce Longoria; siblings: Juana Rios, Federico Rios Jr, Lydia Avalos and Candelario Rios; her son: Lauro Arce, Jr.; and her granddaughter: Kendra K. Perez.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Rogelio Arce, Elodia Arce, Emilio (Socorro) Arce, Sandra (Guillermo) Perez, Ruben Arce, Hilda (Ricardo) Vichareli, Francisco Javier (Sunita) Arce, and Norma Linda Arce; as well as her adored grandchildren: Veronica, Rogelio Jr., Eva, Valeria, Christopher, Lupita, and Christian Arce, Nino Alvarez, Lauro Ivan and Emilio Arce Jr., Kasandra and Guillermo Perez Jr., Ruben Jr., Rebecca and Alejandro Arce, Ricardo H. Jr. and Rolando Vichareli, and Christina, Alexa, and Nathan Lauro Arce. She is further survived by her brother: Victor Rios; sisters; Marta (Manuel) Martinez and Socorro (Alonzo) Rodriguez; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday evening, January 26, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be recited by Father Jose Maria Guevara from St. Jude Catholic Church at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning, January 27, 2020 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Ricardo H. Vichareli, Rogelio Arce, Jr., Emilio Arce, Jr., Ivan Lauro Arce, Nino Alvarez and Alejandro Arce.
The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to: Dr. Carlos Casas and his office staff for their excellent care and attention that was provided for over 25 years.
