Americo Cantu

Americo Rafael Cantu, 72, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 26, 2011.-Americo proudly served our country in the United States Armed Forces retiring with honorable discharge in 1984.-He then worked as an administrator for the local VA clinic until retirement.

Americo was preceded in death by his father Rafael Cantu, brothers Adolfo Cantu, John Charles Cantu, and his sister Ruth Thelma Perez.

He is survived by his loving wife Maria G. Cantu, children Denise Cantu, Tania Cantu, Tammy Cantu, Marianne Cantu, and Rafael Cantu, grandchildren Aime and Markus Benavides, Nicholas, David, Angela Cantu, Mateo and Carlos Alvarado, and Christopher Cantu, mother Adela Perez Cantu, siblings Nancy and Sid Garcia, Martha and Bland Chamberlon, Hazel and George Bernard, Elsie Boren, Jesse Cantu, Fred Cantu, Joe Cantu, and Adela Cantu.
