Our Beloved Amber was called to his resting place on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Amber was born in Laredo, Texas on January 13, 1964. His fondest memories of his childhood were spent at Nixon High School as member of the Nixon Mustang football team. He was proud of his friends and fellow teammates. Amber was loved by many; he never met a stranger and was always ready with a helping hand. He seemed to always know what people needed and without having to ask, gave of himself unselfishly without expecting anything in return…your friendship and love was what mattered most to him.
Amber is survived by his loving wife, Norma; his daughters, Maegan, Bailey, Shelby, and will join his beloved Baby Amber in heaven. His parents, Amber II and Sharon Yeary; sisters, Erin (Ron) Eichorst and Caryn (Randy) Fox; aunt, Linda Snow; brothers-in-law, Romeo (Cristina) Ramos and Oscar Ramos; sisters-in-law, Concepcion (Pedro) Perez and Nydia Ramos; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended relatives. He is further survived by many lifelong friends and coworkers.
To honor him as Pallbearers: Judge David E. Garcia, Hector “Tito” Garcia, Barry Gilpin, Henry Miller, Robert A. Ramirez Jr., Mario Rodriguez, Tim Shipton, and Judge Kevin P. Yeary.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmy M. Escoto, Amber M. Yeary II, Kenneth Cavazos Sr., Greg Gamble, Albert Lowry, Anthony E. Mendoza, Patricio G. Mendoza Jr., Manuel Rangel, Dr. Antonio Rodriquez, Bernal Slight, and David V. Trevino.
Amber loved to work and enjoyed the end of each day in his backyard surrounded by his wife and daughters. On any Friday night you would find him waiting to see who would drop by for an end of the week “platica” and cocktail. His home was your home and he greeted everyone with a huge abrazo and warm smile and no matter what the week had been like for him; your conversation was what he was most interested in. We will all miss him dearly, his famous despedida to all, is our farewell to him:
“We will see you when we see you, Amber.”
