She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents Gustavo (Margarita) Vargas.

She is survived by her parents Jose "Henry" (Brisia) Gamez; brother Jose Enrique Gamez Jr.; sister Ruby D. Gamez; niece Alexa Elias; maternal grandmother Margarita Valls and Paternal Grandparents Ricardo (Irma) Gamez.
