November 30, 1934 - January 25, 2021
Mr. Amadeo Aurelio Juarez, Sr., 86, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Monday, January 25, 2021.
Amadeo was born on November 30, 1934 to Benito and Jesusa Juarez in Laredo, Texas. After his graduation from high school, he made the noble venture to enroll in the armed forces and proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force. After completing his tour of duty, he was honorably discharged and returned home where he began working for his father as a welder. Blessed with the gift of ingenuity, he ultimately started his own construction company which he owned and operated for a number of years.
Amadeo had many passions in life, chief among them were service to his community; which led him to serve in the Laredo Mexican Chamber of Commerce as President and served as L.U.L.A.C Director for District 14 Council, as well as Boy Scouts Master for Troop 73 in Laredo. In his leisure, he was an avid outdoorsmen and enjoyed ranching, hunting, and fishing.
He will fondly be remembered as a perpetual optimist, he left a considerable impression on those who had the pleasure to meet his acquaintance. His dedication to industry was only surpassed by his unconditional love of family. He was regarded as the protector of his family and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benito Juarez-Martinez and Jesusa Johnson Rubio-Juarez; and his sisters, Minerva Juarez-Gamez (Manuel Gamez) and Graciela Juarez.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 59 years of marriage, Rafaela Garcia-Juarez; his children, Amadeo Andres Juarez, Jr., Abelardo Andres (Dina) Juarez, Aida Araceli (Carlos) Martinez, Argelia Astrid Juarez, and Alejandro Andres (Daphne) Juarez; his grandchildren, Nicolas Antonio and Diego Keith Juarez, Alejandro Javier, Abraham Humberto, Adelina Victoria, and Annette Olivia Martinez, Justin Ryan Treviño, Durina Destiney, Devon Dior, and Dionysia Danik Juarez. He is further survived by seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends.
