Alicia Texas

Alicia Gomez Rivera peacefully passed away in her sleep at her home in Laredo, Texas on October 20, 2016 at the age of 67.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rumaldo and Guadalupe Gomez; six brothers, Roberto, Armando, Jose Cruz, Guadalupe, Juan, Rumaldo, Jr., and her sister Maria Pena.

Alicia is survived by her spouse Hector M. Rivera, and her youngest daughter Leann Guadalupe Rivera.

Alicia was truly one of a kind, an amazing mother and wife. She was always ready to help her family and friends.

The obituary author (her daughter) would like to thank Alicia for her endless love, devotion, support and guidance in her life.

Dear mom, my angel. I thank you for teaching me how to live life fully, bravely and courageously, just like you lived yours. The best times of laughter were the ones I shared with you. The best food I have ever tasted, was made by you, the most beautiful flowers, were the ones planted by you. The best smiles and hugs, were the ones I got from you. Now the most amazing angel is YOU. I will miss you dearly, each day. Te quiero mucho, Leann.
