Alicia Reyes Retana, 42, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, August 8, 2021.

Alicia was a great and loving wife, mother, sibling, and friend.  She was very caring, compassionate, self-sacrificing and extremely dedicated to everything and everyone who crossed paths with her.  She had an infectious smile, was family oriented and most importantly she was a FIGHTER!!

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Francisco Javier Reyes Retana; children, Victoria Camila Reyes Retana, Valentina Carlota Reyes Retana, Alicia “Ali” Reyes, Enrique Perez; parents, Pedro and Maria de los Angeles Alvarado; siblings, Ana Gabriela (Ismael) Cuellar, Lisa (Jesus) Velasquez, Pedro P. (Rosie) Alvarado, and Elisa (Edgar) Murillo.  She is further survived by Family Reyes Retana, as well as numerous loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning, August 13, 2021 departing at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m.

All services will conclude at the church.
