Alicia Escamilla

Alicia R. Escamilla, 97, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 05, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reyes Escamilla, Jr.; parents, Francisco and Benita Serna Ramirez; 7 brothers and sisters; grandson, Marco Antonio Escamilla and great-grandson, Ervey Erasto Chavez, Jr. Mrs. Escamilla is survived by her beloved children, Reyes Escamilla, III. (Francisca S.), Dora Alicia Mendez (Gilberto Jr.), Esperanza Chavez ( Edmundo), Jose A. Escamilla (Nancy P.), Ruben Escamilla (Rosemary M.), and Francisco Escamilla (Lisa Na Trong); 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her caretaker, Edith Galvan who took care of her for the past 2 years; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, May 08, 2015 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Springfield Funeral Chapels, 1900 Springfield; where a Rosary will commence at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday morning, May 9, 2015 departing at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson Springfield Funeral Chapels to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot in Ramireo Cemetery in Ramireo, Texas.
