Alice Jo Sanchez, 57, entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 28, 2012.

Alice Jo was born in Laredo, Texas on March 19, 1955 to Mr. Manuel J. and Alice Sanchez.-She was raised in this hometown until her moving to El Paso for as short while with her first husband, Frank Elder.-Robert was born into this marriage.-After a few years, she moved to San Antonio, Texas where she continued to live for most of her life until moving back to Laredo in 2009 to care for her mother after the passing of her father.

Mrs. Sanchez received her Real Estate License in 1985 and was a loving, caring and wonderful professional who thoroughly enjoyed the world of Realty.-During her professional career, she received many accolades, such as Realtor of the Year, Top 10 Real Estate Agents in 1995.-Some of her professional designations included:-Graduate of Realtor Institute, Certified Residential Specialist, and Authorized Luxury Home Specialist.-She made many friends and business colleagues as a realtor.-She was nominated for the Platinum Top 50 and was also a member of the Elite Group.-In her spare time, she avidly enjoyed cycling as a means to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.-

As we prepare to say Goodbye to her, we know that all those beautiful memories will be forever etched in our hearts and minds.

Alice Jo was preceded in death by her father:-Manuel J. Sanchez; former husbands:- Frank G. Elder and David R. Sanchez.

She is survived by her son:-Robert William Elder; grandchildren:-Austin William Elder, Christian Ethan Elder; mother:-Alice Dougherty Sanchez; uncles and aunts:-Richard A. Dougherty, Sonia (Raul) Vasquez, Ignacia Sanchez, Omar (Fame) Sanchez, Irma (Roberto) Salinas, Norma Johnston, and Jose Maria (Virginia) Sanchez; and cousins: Sandra Dougherty, and Robert Dougherty.-She is also survived by some of her closest friends: Mr.-& Mrs. Oscar (Betty) Moreno, Ms. Laura Casso, Crissy Pena, Minita Leal, and her beloved chihuahua: "Petunia Jo".
