ALBERTO RUBIO October 17, 1924 - January 12, 2015 Alberto Rubio, age 90, of Laredo, Texas, passed away in the comfort of his home on Monday, January 12, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Concepcion Narvaez- Rubio; siblings, Jose Marcelino Rubio, Guadalupe Rubio; and by his parents, Samuel and Guadalupe G. Rubio. Alberto is survived by his beloved children, Alberto Rubio Jr. of Houston, Texas, Manuel Gerardo (Elva) Rubio of San Antonio, Texas, Jose Juan (Sara) Rubio of Laredo, Texas, Guadalupe (Neal) Garcia of Laredo, Texas, Laura (Marcus) York of Laredo, Texas; and cherished grandchildren, Manuel Gerardo Rubio Jr., Elvita Rubio, Alberto Gerardo Rubio, Jose Juan Rubio Jr., Jasmine Marie Garcia, Jessica Marie Garcia, Neal Garcia II, Alejandra Yvette, Pablo III; stepmother, Maria Rubio; stepbrothers, Samuel (Sonia) Rubio Jr., Pablo (Celina) Rubio; and stepsister, Elisa (Jesus) Gutierrez. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd., with a Rosary scheduled to commence at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning, January 16, 2015 departing at 9 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Interment will then follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
