ALBERTO CHAVEZ LOERA

November 24, 1939 – September 26, 2021

Alberto Chavez Loera, 81, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, September 26, 2021.

Mr. Chavez was an extremely humble, kind man. He cherished and adored his family who he devoted his life to. He outshined every Sunday to welcome his family for his delicious lunch. He always encouraged his children the importance of having faith in God and an education. His legacy will continue through his beloved children. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will truly be missed by those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Marcelo and San Juanita Chavez and daughter-in-law, Orelia Lucia Perez Chavez.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Maria V. Chavez, their children; Alberto Chavez, Jr., Haydee (Ernesto) Barajas, Ada (Marcus) Moreno, Alma Claudia (Ramon) Mendiola III, Miriam (Ruben) Chapa. As well as his grandchildren; Kathy and Ashlyn Chavez, Ernesto, Jr., Haydee and Brittney Barajas, Sophia and Selika Moreno, Vivyan and Ramon Mendiola IV, Allison, Omar and Amber Chapa.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning, September 30, 2021 departing at 10:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to his caregivers: Marisela, Lilian, Lucy, Dora, Maria, Ruby and Antonia. Also to his nurses: Valerie, Sophia and Fausto at Serenity Hospice.
