Mrs. Alberta Garcia Resendiz, 95, entered peacefully into the kingdom of heaven on Thursday, November 24, 2016, in the presence of her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Severiano Garcia and Abundia Resendiz; husband: Eliseo Resendiz; daughters: Epifania Reyes and Francisca Reyes.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her children: Apolinar (Bertha) Resendiz, Gloria (Pedro) Badillo, Juventino Resendiz, Hortencia R. (Jose Javier) Gonzaelz, Jose (Maria Elena) Resendiz; as well as by her 45 grandchildren and a slew of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The family will gather on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Joe Jackson Springfield Chapels, 1900 Springfield Ave. from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Vigil and Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow to the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
