ADRIANA "ARI" GARZA

March 21, 1973 - January 31, 2016

Adriana "Ari" Garza, 42, entered into the arms of the heavenly father on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the age of 42. She fought bravely until the end never loosing hope, remaining optimistic by keeping her festive attitude until the end.

She is survived by her loving parents, Hector and Martha Garza; her older brother, Marco and Susana Garza and their children, Giselle, Ivan, Mariana; her sister, Cynthia and Raul Arriaga and their daughter Ari's silly goose, Anali; and her younger brother, Hector and Yvette Garza and their children, Araceli, Gustavo, and Armando.

She was a dedicated daughter, sister, and friend. She influenced many young minds as a career-long teacher with United ISD. Regardless of age, she was always fun-loving and remained young at heart. She will be remembered by all her loving relatives, friends, her colleagues from UISD, and most of all, from all her students whom she loved, cared, and dedicated her work and service.

We will miss her joy, her optimism, strength, and her wanting to live life to the fullest while sharing her friendship.

We invite you to join us in celebrating her life on Thursday, February 04, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels; 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Funeral procession will depart on Friday, February 05, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.

Private Inurnment will be held at a later date.

The Pallbearers for the services will be Marco Garza, Hector Garza, Raul Arriaga, Joe Aguilar, Julio Ortega, Tito Lozano, Sidney Lozano, and Ismael Rodriguez Jr.
