Mr. Jose Dominguez Jr,.73, entered into the kingdom of heaven on Tuesday, March 08, 2022 in Galveston, Texas.
Jose proudly served and defended his country in the U.S. Army while stationed abroad in Vietnam. He served his tour with honor and unwavering decorum. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by parents: Jose Dominguez Sr. and Baudilia Margarita Martinez de Dominguez; siblings: Mario Dominguez, Berta Dominguez, Jesus Dominguez, and Roberto Dominguez.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Maria Teresa Herrera Domínguez; children, Monica Dominguez, Adriana Dominguez, Erika Dominguez, Jose Raul Dominguez (Elizabeth Ramirez), Jacqueline Dominguez (Francisco Ulloa), Jessica Dominguez, Susana Dominguez (Miguel Espinal), Maricarmen Dominguez, Hector Dominguez, Peter Dominguez (Krystal Graciano), Olga Dominguez, and Alberto Dominguez; 30 adored grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings, Raul Dominguez, Zulema Dominguez, and Elvia Dominguez; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd., where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2022; procession will depart at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Jose Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:15 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post 59 and the U.S. Army Honor Guard will follow at the Veteran’s Section of the Laredo City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Peter Dominguez, Jose Raul Dominguez, Francisco Ulloa, Eric Lopez, Elvis Lopez, Daymian Dominguez, Monica Dominguez, and Genaro Hernandez.
