Bonnie B. Villarreal, 66, born on May 16, 1955, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.

She devoted many years working as a Registered Nurse for both Mercy and Doctors Hospitals in Laredo, as well as working for a number of other hospitals in San Antonio.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn Josey and Barney Burkhalter.

She is survived by her husband, Jorge Villarreal; and her children, Jessica Hinojosa, Joanne Davila (Mario), and John Perez (Kat); along with her grandchildren, Mark Hinojosa, Jesus Martinez, and Zoey Haggarty. In addition, her sisters and brother, Natalie Burkhalter, Kimberly Burkhalter (Clive), Jamy Josey, and James Aaron Josey; nephews, Jacob Cuellar and Isaiah Cuellar; nieces, Loretta Josey and Lilah Josey; as well as numerous friends and relatives.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20th, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd. Laredo, Texas 78041; where a Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 p.m.
